Lynne, I'm so glad you hang around here. It gives us insight to so many practices that most of us have no clue about. I always look for your posts.

I was just glancing through your wonderful selection here and this one stuck out, if you have ever seen the movie "Shackles" this reminds me of a scene from there.

Y'know except for the paint being chipped the place doesn't look a whole lot different than when it was open..

they have taken down the dividers you can see the screw holes in the fin wall

my day job is to hvac (6years now) if it was hot water it was most like about 200. making it stupid to put more metel around it (they were most like trying to keep the kids from getting burned) wood would let air get in and out. but have it so they wouldn't get burnt

they are lucky the room did flash over. its sad tho because being a firefighter my self i know it just takes time before one is sit and does. i know they wouldn't send us in do to by the time something was notice the building would have badly damaged.

I bet those ceiling tiles looked great when they were brand new. It's weird, it almost seems like the floor and ceiling have switched places.

It's like the light at the end of the tunnel.
