I love this website. Don't comment often, but I visit very frequently. I would love to visit these places... though every time I have attempted exploration myself, I hear a loud noise or something and end up running away. thank you Motts for preserving them on film, as it seems they won't be around much longer. It takes a creative mind to appreciate what most would simply like to forget. They are spaces wherein the sacred and the profane walk hand in hand.

to:radical ed....geppert is being paid over 12 million to be the general contractor on site.everyone else is a sub-contractor to them.DELTA removal is being paid 4 million to do the asbestos.not a bad price when they are using virtually no materials at all,,,just a rip and run operation.and you are sooo right about furry ellis...........

Trust me the stae didn't make a whole lot of money on the deal. What the state did do was dodge the massive asbestos abatement bill

Trust me, it is an ex Navy rescue tug, there were three of them in the yard. Aftrer Navy service this became a tug names HILA It was one of the better preserved boats in the yard.

This is a bow shot of a former U.S. Navy tug, that is the only information I have on it.

how is it the nhs in england moans it has NO money when they have SLUNG OUT HUNDREDS of patients and closed all these places, and sold the land set in hundreds of acres and the buildings themselves for MANY MILLIONS???
