Pretty pink curtains! They don't do much for the green walls, but it's nice that everything is still so clean looking and intact. And no boards on the window? That's something nice to see, too.

This made me laugh. I have nothing against mentally retarded/challenged/disabled people at all, and I don't want to sound cruel, but the title of this book just tickled my funny bone.

For such a classic and informative text on the subject of mental retardation (this information, by the way, is courtesy of one of Lynne's above comments), I can't believe that they would use such a politically incorrect title. And if the book is in fact still in print, I do hope they've re-named it. Something like that could offend a great deal of people that do suffer from mental retardation. And those who don't might just think the book's a big joke, with a title like that.

The primary colors make me think of chilren. You know how hospitals and the like always try to use cartoon character paintings and bright colors to add some cheer to the childrens' wings. Perhaps this wing was for children? I don't know anything about Foxboro, so maybe I'm wrong entirely. It's just a guess.

Wow...I look at this and think it would be so beautiful if restored as a hotel - I would spend the night for sure....

Danvers while a beauty in many respects, could be a grim looking place. Imposing, glowering, and unforgiving.

Yes it was the room lobotomies were performed in. It was a small building off the female wing of the building. There was a small passage way from the ward to the building.

Ok, that creeps me out.
