I'm continually amused at the discussions about whether or not people were abused and mistreated in these facilities. Want to see abused? Read the paper. Watch the news. It's everywhere you look and there is no guesswork involved.
If you want to look at pictures of abandoned buildings and surmise about the abuse, cruelty and crimes against humanity, check out any abandoned jail or prison. I assure you there were all forms of degradation taking place daily in those types of structures.

Sometimes you can almost see the ghosts of people waiting for a phantom subway to pull up and whisk them away to whatever eerie destination . . . but this spot looks like even the ghosts have abandoned it.
I used to spend time in an old theatre on an abandoned West Coast military base- I swear- as you stood up on the stage- you could feel yourself being watched by the eyes of dead GI's who'd sat there and then gone off to die in the Pacific. It's like they'd returned somehow . . .

I am most interseted in the tunnels (if you have seen any of my posts). That was the one place I never fully explored. Wondering if hip waders are what you would need? I always heard rumors the tunnels connected all the main buildings...and they were pretty flooded 10 yrs ago lol.

I read some other rumor/conjecture on some site...about how glennDale was used/being used for a military/police urban warfare training area. Using night vision and whatever else and roaming the place.

google enchanted forest you can't miss it (although there are alot of em). I too have been thinking alot about the enchanted forest. Part of it is a mall now, kinda strange...maybe sad even.
