Very narrow corridor, looks like it would be hard for two people to pass by each other.
Great photo of many colours.
Great link wjbodin3, thanks. In your photo, the grass and bushes are not grown over the stairs and porch.
Good comment, Hallucinator. Me too.
Is this part of the kitchen, or did some rooms come with a kitchenette type of set-up? You're right LucieLou, I'd hate to have the fridge door open and someone try to get in the door LOL.
Is this a stucco wall, or did it acquire that rough texture through age and rot??
So clean, no signs of rot on the papers.
Lots of great angles here.
Fabulous, a new gallery. Love the window above the door.

I used to live tree blocks from here never gave it much thought. I worked four blocks away. When you live in a place with so much history and old places you don't give it much thought. Salem is a great place to live....

Thanks for the wonderful new gallery, Motts. I always look forward to them when they arrive. Glad you didn't get the business end of that bird — he or she looks VERY unhappy with you! LOL
They wanted an escape?
That wooden floor is nice.
Yes. But how on Earth did it last so long? Polaroid Quality.
Definitely distinctive color choice - four in one. 1950-ties pastel?
Messages of missed connections. They hung out here, guess,Noel&Co;.
Thanks for the link, wjbodin3.
Yes, and on Google Earth, you may see Heiden Hotel on Heiden Road with the Time Slider: The Building, the burn-out, the razing + removal. Grass growing now. There are a few small houses around still, ground ids kept around them.
