I'm sorry to keep this going but this thread is really interesting. You actually had to go to the hospital because of injuries sustained on the job? Wow, I never thought of that before, although I suppose it's possible given the line of work.
I hope none of your injuries were really bad. Can you tell about any of them? God I'm nosey.... I hope you don't mind I'm just really interested. Happy holidays by the way. :-)

i'm guessing thats why this pic is named what it is, but you see that jet stream? it looks almost like smoke coming out of the chinmey, making the place look like its still occupied.

GirlJaye is right, it's the lines which make this shot so great, the lines and the color. I'm having a hard time chosing whether I like this one or the "blue and white doors with the screaming image" a few pics back better.

Before I wondered why there weren't more pastle colors in hospitals, now I'm seeing both baby blue and baby yellow. LOL I guess I got my wish.

That 's it! No more soda and candy for me while looking at these pictures! The song "Jungle Boogey" is now blasting in my head. The sad thing is i'm not even that crazy about that song!

Seriously though, I love this shot. I love how the white walls and red doors contrast with the green plants. What a great shot Motts. You were on a role in this place.

Bad wording... the hospitals closed permanently around the end of December and early January. :-)

Good shot, the windows would have been nicer though if they weren't covered half way up with concrete.

The black spots look like "Pet" from Edgar and Ellen is climbing up the wall.

Were these patient rooms or seclusion rooms? What are the holes in the doors?

My favorite so far! I like how the white and baby blue contrast, and yes, that stain on the window does look like a small, screaming creature. Quite unnerving.
