Her name was Anna Schuleit. The project was titled Bloom, and she filled an abandoned mental institution with wall-to-wall flowers, lined the walkways with sod, and piped in recorded sounds from when the institution was up and running. reminiscent ....

my friend and i went for a drive down from NH yesterday afternoon. . . and were very disappointed to find only 2 or 3 buildings still remaining. i got a few nice shots but the place was crawling with police, and state property signs. it would have been a dream come true to be able to go inside--- thank god this website exists so those of us unlucky enough to never enter and get that close can still experience its dramatic effects

Thank God I gave birth in Australia! They make sure the mother is comfortable and if they are watched it is done discretely! Curtains are kept across the observation windows until the last moment and then they are only drawn during the actual birth and then the curtains are quickly shut again. There is no green in sight.
