I throught this was a washing machine at first!

It might help when planning numbers for chapel services.

Normally chapels would be too small for all patients to attend one service, so a few spread over a Sunday split by denomiation would make things more manageable.

The vials were for tissue, blood and other related samples from bodies. The next photo is a closer look.

Someone named Jason Senders signed the guestbook on April 30th saying they have started tearing the buildings down for new houses.

I worked at a hospital built in the 50's, that had refrigerators like that at the employee entrance. This was due to practicality, as the employee entrance was at the lower rear of the building, which was also a perfect place for a hearse to drive up discreetly to pick up bodies.
Every morning, I had to walk past those doors, knowing there was a good chance a corpse lay behind it. What a way to start the day.

FYI - all the buildings (on both sides of the street) have been completely demolished/gutted. They have built condominiums on the property - those are gonna be some very haunted living spaces.

I love these pics - I actually work at a haunted house and we've been looking at sites like these for ideas for rooms. Great work!
