Very cool.

Pretty cool shot...gives the mine life.

Thats just what the mine we went in looked like. The train car we went in on was electric and the car was just a bench long enough for about 8 people. and it had 5 cars on it. it only took about 30' heading in at an angle downward before there was zero light coming in from outside. It was kind of freaky.

Pretty heavy duty beams and columns for the overhead crain. Must had to lift some pretty big stuff.

Yeah it looks like the employee I.D. box. You would take your light, radio and down you went. If the box was empty that ment you were on your shift and in the mine.
They the same thing at a mine tour I went on here in Arizona in Bisbee. It was pretty cool

Thats a scary shot....I think thats were the crazed killer would throw out the body parts....well thats if they used it to make a scary movie here.

Its a very cool find. and some great buildings.

It should be grease to keep the cables lubed up and kept it all from wearing out to fast.

The building below..was that the control house? It looks like the long slot is where the cable came off the wheel over the shaft and then to the drum of the winch.
