It's a shame that this building isn't being used.

The same system is still in use in the Winsford rock salt mine over here in Cheshire, UK. I had a guided tour it back in 2004. Its also where the Police and govenment hide evidence/secrets in a part of the mine called deep store. Its all a bit x-files.

Over here in sunny Liverpool we call Stella "wife beater" it is the fuel of choice for most street brawls and late night arguments.

"Built For The Ages," with all that marble and ciopper and brass. These people had a tremendous pride in their building and their product and must have thought that both would last forever.... Not quite. Since the beer's still around, though, and I've never had it, I'm tempted to try it now.

The old picture of this room looks more like a sanitarium than most of the other rooms so far. So sterile and boring despite the amazing architecture.

Great shot of the windows in the reflection of the water, with the island of loose rubble in the center. Very cool! I like the two drops in the water as well- makes for an even more interesting reflection. I wonder if there were just drips, or if something was dropped in the water intentionally for the effect? Either way, great shot!

Your photography is so emotionally evocative. Do you shoot in RAW and photoshop these later, or was this the result of the original exposure?

I love the muted blast of colors in this shot. Surprisingly, the shot is visually extremely interesting, even though it is so dead center. You have an amazing eye and real balls to do a shot like that.

Reminds me of the autopsy rooms in the asylums, only more organic. There's more use out of the room and seems like a lot of time, effort and love was given here.
