I lived across the street from the cemetary with no names. It is on Cross Street about a quarter mile down the road from FSH. There is a spookier graveyard a little way up the road - it is at the end of a path in the woods. Creepy - just creepy. We used to tell stories of the "hookman" walking up that path.
My aunts mother lost two children in a sledding accident - sled went in front of a car and killed them both. Her husband brought her to Foxboro State Hospital for a partial lobotomy. She is in her late 80's and has always been child-like since I've known her. Maybe the table was used for Lobotomies?
Motts,
I thank you for these well presented postings.
In days past I enjoyed nothing more than the welol planned night mission to a new disused industrial location to explore, document and imagine. Times have changed somewhat, and the benefit to risk ratio has cut down on my willingness to place myself in a position of trespassing violation as it might affect my security clearance. That being my excuse for not being out there...I revel in your explorations vicariously, and enjoy the visual point of view you present immensely.
Would like to correspond,
Wm.
I wonder if any of the crypts I MT. Hope cemetery are as ornate. My Dad only told me that one time he found a man sleeping with a corpse. My dad is a Rochester police officer and has gotten some pretty weird calls.
Update: Went to the Terminal on Tuesday to see which floor I might clean. I might be cleaning the 12th floor for an observation room. It is a long way up those stairs.
Now I just havce to get it approved by the council and I'll be cleaning the 12th floor so people climb the stairs and view the city.
