Actually those are not faucets. They are gas hookups. The nozzles on the end of the "faucet" are made for rubber hoses to fit over them which would hook up to whichever instrument required gas.

It looks allot like washout from the photo getting wet, I could be completely wrong though, it's happened before... once... a long time ago... we don't talk about it anymore....

The "light fixture" or "soap dispenser" appears to be part of the plumbing, if you look at the top of the bedpan washer/urinal, it appears to be the same size as the hole in the wall. Copper robbers, or whoever, probably took the hook portion out of it.

Seems kind of like those frozen cake boxes that had "Other side up" on the bottom now that it's too late and the frosting is all messed up...

Such a beautiful structure, reminds me of a castle. The peaked windows with the awesome crowning on the top of the structure, absolutely gorgeous. It's really sad to see such an amazing structure go to waste, however, in a strange way, it makes it more beautiful to have the ivy and such being slightly over grown around it. Just amazing. It's really too bad that they don't build them like this anymore. It truly is.

Stray wheelchairs freak me out...a lot. I watch to many movies. Great shot though
