i graduated high school in 2003... it seems like such a short time ago. it's amazing how one goes into those places, or looks at the pictures. and thinks from the looks of it that the place has been abandoned for ages, when in reality it was only a few years. there's a hospital like that in my town, that closed in 2001(?) but anyone would think it closed much earlier than that.

stainless steel is easy enough to keep clean if you do it on a regular basis; i wonder what kind of chemicals were stored in there... they could be made into "food" (or an explosion.) what part of the hospital was this in? just a lab or something?

I noticed on some other pictures that the Clouds and such were photoshopped to add effect. & In some backgrounds were blurred.
...But. If that's the natural light. [which is prbly is.] then that is amazing.
I love this picture.
wow. That reminds me of that Japanese movie.. "Infection" They have like, a hospital with practical no staff.. and hardly any money. No new supplies and they sort of shut down. Then some patient gets randomly wheeled in the back, and his insides decompose into green. Then the doctor see's everything as green [well, everything that was red]. and the green was the 'infection' but it was really just an 'evil' halucination. it was weird. something about how your mind processes colors. Kind of a cheesey movie, but I liked it. Seems to fit this hospital.
this picture is insane.
it's like the right side is rotted away..versus the left side. which looks like it's never been closed down.
all the paint is peeling and mold and stuff is everywhere. even the skylights are dirty.
then you look over, and the windows are clean, the paint looks fine and the mold isn't on the floor.
Wow.
It definatly doesn't look much like a hospital. It's kind of gorgeous.
