Its probably infinitely safer than trying to fend for themselves on the street. At least here they have shelter, not to mention a much smaller amount of other persons around who may or may not be threats themselves.

I also noticed many of the tall structures have this outside enclosed staircase. My thought is in case of fire it provides more time and safety to evacuate.

I think someone should accept the fact that it happened in the past and there is nothing that can be done about it today.

I think someone should be held accountable for the millions of dollars of equipment and supply that was just left there and now just garbage. Only a few buildings were cleaned out, the rest were left as work would go on as usuall the next day. Even X ray machines.

Does anyone have a problem like I am with seeing how much taxpayer payed for equipment that was just left behind when this place was shut down? I have seen it first hand and even now after almost twelve years is still there just.going to waste. I would not recomend anyone with a thought to enter any of these buildings, it is very dangerous.
