Hi just saw the site here, love it. When i was a kid i was terrified of this ride, and didnt like it much as i got older, but was utterly fascinated by it. I only remember one time going in the house as an adult. I have some questions.

-Anyone remember a very fat lady? I think she was right before the old lady in the chair.

-What did the owners do with the things they took out of the house? Were they just thrown out? Id love to know what happened to the viking.

-Were the contents of the ride actioned off with the ride? In other words did the winners take the figures out? I remember the whole duration I went the woman on the saw mill. I used to think it was a guy.

Finally, The viking was originally in the second floor hallway I believe, but what happened to the dragon with all the body parts? Anyone remember that dragon eating the guy?

It was kind of a ghastly ride. :)

anyway grandmom could never afford going away to a resort so a doctor opted for pushing red-hot wire into the flesh of her arms to the bone instead.

My father's mother,who died before he married,had I suppose,cancer that was misdiagnosed or not recognized.It appears it went into remission long enough for her to pass through Ellis Island,then later she relapsed and succombed.Anyway they called that consumption.
