Are those the ones that printed things with purple ink?

As I'm scrolling through this gallery, sirens are blaring outside as an ambulance makes its way down the road. What an appropriate soundtrack for an old hospital.

That's sun coming through a window, right? I didn't think these isolation rooms had windows.

It probably would have helped prevent claustrophobia, though. And sunlight always makes me feel better.

I was wondering that, too. How many seclusion rooms did most hospitals have?

The style is 1950's, possibly early 1960's.

I think it's a broken Teddy Ruxpin-type of animatronic doll. Or a ventriloquist's dummy...which is creepy in and of itself.

The logical side of my brain says that the chain was probably used to hoist heavy equipment or secure a row of oxygen tanks.

The creative side of my brain can only picture this as a trap from one of the "Saw" movies...
