I was relooking this photo over. I love the way the foilage has taken over the building, especially at the entrance. Looks like skinny arms reaching out beckoning you to come in and look around. Very amazing.

you know what is funny is that i work at the veterans center, the old pennhurst and the numbers on the walls are still there, but they are in our staff bathrooms

The parallel bars are used to assist with walking patients.....we still use them today! PS....I looove your site, Motts.

The stuff here is much more hi tech than some of your other locations, and it's a little upsetting that it's not bewing used! Nice to see the old equipment though, very cool xD

I was just in there a few days ago and it is cool to see that most of the damage is from the building falling apart more than being vandalized. It's an awesoome place and if there were a way to sign a waiver saying if I got hurt there and no one is responsible (but myself) I would just to go in legally.

Oh....now this is one of my all time faves!
