What a great clear day you had; nice pic!

I quote from the Bible because these pictures say something to me. I myself am not a very elloquent speaker so I use the words of others to express what I feel when I see these pics. And the nice thing about these comments is that if you don't like them, you don't have to read them. There are many comments I have skipped for whatever reason. Enjoy the pictures, Mr. Motts is such a skilled photographer, I spend more time on the pics than I do on the comments.

Very sad what happened to this building. It looks like a fairytale, but never got a fairytale ending. I wish the building could have been saved ( Halycon Hall) because it was so just so rare a building. Even in abandonment, it's so lovely. I came across abandoned pics of it on flickr. I guess all things fall to time though. But I know some of the newer dorms were turned into apartments, so one wishes Halycon hall could have been saved too. What was the Grape Shade? Also. does anyone know the condition of the science building today? I saw insome pics on flickr that there is also an abandoned house on the Bennet property- was this the president's house? Just curious.

It seems the machine is sinking into the concrete, thats theirs more to it underneath. Very nice pic Mr Motts.

i went there last might just drove by the place has its own police on duty watching it you have to walk into the park and park your car down the block some where its in a state park right across the street from kings park high school but just sitting in the car you get a weird feeling vibe like bad things happen there and theres people watching you from the building and there waiting for you. funny thing happened we were driven in the park and a racoon walked out in front of the car and it stopped it look possesed and scary like it was a ghost it tried to scare us by charging the car. later that night i went to pilgrim state park just be careful there its very easy to get into building but cops hang out in the closed and abandoned parking lots and off in the woods as you get closer to the active part of pilgrim state but it's not as scary because the building was cleared out of all the medical stuff.

im here now ,no problem getting in ,its almost dark ,we plan on staying through the night to get some good pictures when the sun comes up,ill post a link tommorow,this is honestly creepy

Wow, for once I'm actually saddened to see a shipwreck (instead of covering my eyes, curling up into the foetal position and gibbering like a wuss).

I think I've just turned 4 shades paler...

I do a lot of kayaking, and the thought of straying anywhere near that is blindingly pertifying. Great job, Motts!!

Oh dear lord...I flinched away the moment this photo loaded! This is giving me a great cardiovascular workout :p
