The hose appears to be alive...snakelike and hunting for prey. The rust or "blood" and the loop in the hose ties it all together very well. Living photograph indeed. Very well done :)

Cyrus--the title of the page, "Auge", is the German word for "eye", so it's not surprising to see a diagram of an eye there too... I'm guessing maybe the whole page is about eyes, though I lack the mad translating skillz to verify.

*shudder* The last few pictures in this gallery were so disturbing! This has to be my favorite set of pictures. Such a unique location, between the tissue samples and lack of vandalism...Thanks for sharing your excellent work!

Joking aside, I'm not really bothered by this aside from the horrifying lack of proper storage. I'd probably wind up stealing one of those samples...

Well, I guess I found out. I have no idea what those are...they resemble the organs of a cat after the second month of dissection in a high school A&P class.

So...much...medical waste...it's a wonder the wax didn't melt in the heat! I'm a science geek, and I'd love to examine some of those. Makes you curious to know if all of the random tissue samples lying around contained any sort of disease. Eek!
