i was in the new...well it still is shitty.but the hospital next to the one that is being taken down and the reason showers are like that is because wll i mean its basic comman sense. i was there for holding. but there are people who cut themselves, people who want to hang themselves and people who dont see living as a thing to care about. in the old days hospitals were a place to bring the sick and those people were looked upon as not wanted. so not very many people wanted to work with them or had the patience or strength. showers the most easiest time to hurt yourself.you are already bare and on the heads of the shower you can hang yoursef.at least thats waht the girls tried to do when i was on 7c in worcester state. so to jsut pile them all in there and have someone in the cage watching them is the easiest. i think living on a ward and actually seeing it its alot easier to understand....

Great shot Motts.....just think how dark this corridor is at night with no lights & only the moon up above.......great for a scary movie....ugh....and I don't like scary movies much.....

Yeah the no railings really bothers me.....I'd be like so close to the walls when walking down those stairs since that would be the only way out or to get down that is.....it would be hard really to walk down them. That would not be a good fall.....ugh.....scarry....

I guess with all the peeling paint you can tell no one has been there in so long. Its almost sad that buildings are just left alone like this not in some use....or homes too. I just (again) think of how busy this floor was back 'in the day' .....if these walls could talk what would they be telling us?? Some deep thoughts for your day......

I don't think there horrible looking dolls. Interesting maybe but not horrible at all. They do look scared though.....I wonder what the rest of the mural looks like--it looks like theres more too it?

Those slash marks on the doors are very interesting...there is alot of peeling paint going on in this place.....wow.....tons all over . Nice shot Motts!!!

Hey jender13...funny you mention that about the forum boards. I was reading them too & really wanted to post in the discussions as well but had the same issues. I really didn't know what to do either so I just gave up. Thanks for letting us know Motts --now I must try it again. Other than emailing Motts (which I didn't even try ) I just gave up this time around. Will try again very soon.
That 'red' ceiling is kinda strange.....not a great color for a hospital to me. ugh....

My Father and his Partner Mike Schneider bought Sunnycroft from Sylvia Demello A LADY OF CLASS, My Father and Mike added on rooms, rebuilt alot of Sunnycroft, and made it the hot spot it was.
We ues to pick up NYC Singles at the Public LIbrary every Friday in a huge station wagon and drive them up to the Ranch for the Weekend and then drive them back Sunday Nights.
My Father's Trail Rides were notorious for testing one's riding ability.

Mike schneider went with a goregous girlfriend who was a sales rep for John meyers of norwich clothing line, my father is still with Lynn who was a playboy bunny.

I took the wp too. Its a very great shot Motts. Just think of all the patients & staff that used to come up & down those stairs over the yrs. It boggles the mind really. Who would've thought it would look like it does now.....it really makes you wonder doesn't it. IMO anyway.....
