This is why I love this site, you take us right into these places with you. When I was little I was the girl who would take the dare to explore the "haunted, etc".... amd I have always loved photography (I have an old 1970s era Minolta 35mm). The composition, lighting and subject.... The Crown was placed there for what reason??? To be seen, and to recognize the grave as that of a king, perhaps. If it were not a royal, a peasant or common citizen perhaps why would a crown be placed upon it?? At best, to hide a nearby grave of a king - to distract the followers.... Be it a hoax or distraction, a very old crown of some significance was left upon this casket. Both possibilities deserve some reverence. Further investigation is definitely warrented before speculation quashes the matter.
