I just found out that I am mentally ill, and greatly hope that I never get bad enough to end up in a place like this.

these photographs look professionally done, so I don't think there of somebody's family, which scares me to think that there was random pics of children on the wall of a mental institution.

it reminds me of being trapped in the own dark corners of my mind.
very dark, even in the daylight. Sort of like no matter how far you walk, you'll never escape, never get out. Trapped there forever.

Voivod, thanks for sharing the 11-18-08 news article. So many of the aslyums (PA & NJ) are broken into & graffied & damaged by traspassers, teens, adults, satan worshippers....nice to see a reminder as tempting as it might be, it's not worth breaking the law to break in or steal dinner plates for that matter.
