I just cannot under stand how cruel people can be.

The brick work is magnificent. People worked long & hard to build this. Now look at it. Very bittersweet. Motts, I am so hooked on this site.

I went there last night like at 2 am with flashlights & 5 other people. We couldnt get into building 93 at all. We found a old firehouse and almost got in but then we heard someone scream so we ran lmaooo Then there is a building in the entrance on the left and i had my car parked in front. I have a black car so its barely seen especially in that darkness. So i heard the cops cuz of the gravel and once they passed we ran and i busted ma ass lmaooo We booked it!!!! We went home but we wana go back!! Shits crazy there!!!!

I was there yesterday. I didn't go inside the building so I didn't take it. I would love to donate it to the art museum or have that in my room.

I can't see anything that reminds me to torture here - I'd rather think I would enjoy a steam bath like this nowadays when I go to a modern spa, because I hate the steam getting into my eyes and make my head feel about to explode like in a regular steam bath... very convinient, this vintage stuff!

This picture scares the crap out of me. My biggest phobia is falling through a floor in an old, creepy building. "shutter"

I can imagine this floor collapsing suddenly with a thunderous roar & a cloud of dust with no one there to witness it.

Eastern State is the Holy Grail of abandoned buildings. I'm so envious.

I was 28 in 1985, had two kids, was working multiple paramedic jobs, and lived in Saint Albans, West Virginia. Today, the kids are grown & gone, my back is totally screwed up from working multiple paramedic jobs & I live in Cocoa, Florida. Buildings aint he only things that deteriorate with time.
