This is by far the coolest website I have ever visited. This would be the greatest hobby in the world. Too bad I am still only in Highschool.

OK, folks, here's the straight poop on biohazard containers per OSHA.

If someone left that there when the facility closed, they take stupidity to a whole new level. Biohazard bags must be disposed of after 28 days if any material is in them. It doesn't matter if the material is infectious or not. When any material is introduced into the bag, the date must be written on the outside of if with a permanent marker. No date on the bag? That's a $6000.00 fine. If the date is past 28 days, that's another $6000.00 fine. Per bag.

Damn! Motts, you had some mighty big stones going into this place. I wonder if this was a catastrophic, sudden structural failure & everything fell at once or was this a slow sinking? Fascinating photo.

Motts, your talent with a camera borders on the supernatural. You have a gift young man. A natural gift that cannot be learned in a classroom.

This looks like a 19th century jail lock. I really like the vines & the exposed bricks. Spectacular photography.

I grew up in Fort Salonga, and all my friends lived in Kings Park. Most all of them used to hang out on the grounds and smoked their pot and drank there so they wouldnt get caught. The patients would stick their arms out of their barred up windows, and yell obscenaties and crazy gestures. I hear there is alot of paranormal activity in most of the buildings now!
