Freedom is something that we ALL take for granted, and once it's gone, like the old saying goes, "you never know what you have until you loose it." Which is why you shouldn't do the crime if can't do the time.

I can't believe it, I'm looking at this same style wallpaper. It's ( unfortunately ) in our kitchen. It's also hideous.

This movie was just on HBO this afternoon, and I watched it to see if I could spot any familiar surroundings. Of course, there were a lot of scenes shot in what could have been an abandoned mental hospital, and I'm guessing the ones where he was in the future with the council of weird-asses is what was filmed at this location. Very cool.

That has been cut and repaired more than once. Am I to assume some of the resort guests didn't like the accommodations?

Open bars make it easy to gas the guards. That's the food window that Otis used to gas Andy, Barney, and Aunt Bea.

Now I think, I don't recall Mayberry having sink-o-lets for Otis to make toilet wine. That's cruel and unusual.

I use to work there during 1950-1959.The hospital was there for
a reason.My family worked there for about 20 yrs.
Use to live on the grounds in an old farm house out in front
of the farm near the road 2A.. Cant believe the condition that
it has fallen into.
