i hate holes in floors, especially in the pitch black lol, my dad almost stepped in one in MA.

that would not bother me at all, if i have to go i have go. we are such a bunch of prudes that rely on western inventions we would not know how to survive in the freezing cold in the middle of the forest! i would rather squat on that toilet and do my thing than having colon cancer!

I lived in Foxboro also. I never knew about the cemeteries, as a kid I guess I just thought that when a patient died, their family came and brought them home to be buried. I remember hearing shouting and screaming while walking down Chestnut St., in front of the wards. I can only imagine it was hydrotherapy time, or some other 'treatment' time. There was an escape alarm that would pierce the silence of day or night if a patient went missing. On a couple of occasions I remember being home alone when that alarm sounded. I don't mind saying that it made me kind of nervous (I was 9).
I had friends whose parents worked at FSH. There were lots of stories of orderlies bullying, pushing, shouting and threatening patients. Injuries that were passed off as accidents, I wonder how many ended in death. It sounded like the perfect job for somebody with a anger problem.
Horrible things happened there and the construction and botched remodels should be more careful to preserve those graves and the grounds of this place. There should be more respect.
Foxboro was a wonderful place to grow up.
