I am so glad they are restoring this place. Its in good condition considering how long its been abandoned. I want to see it when its done. Hi Debbie, we need to check out some theaters!

Im just surprised it took so long to consider restoring this. As opposed to many of the more industrial and institutional ruins you have photographed, this has plenty of apparent value. I would love to have seen the space over its 30+ years of abandonment.

Wow this place is amazing with its detail and former opulence that still comes though. Some how and this might sound a little strange but it reminds me of the inside of a bee hive. I can imaging theses enormous bees buzzing around in there. I think it is the pattern on the ceiling that inspires this thought in me.

Nice photos Motts. Great to hear that they are restoring it. I wish we could see the after pictures too. I bet it'll be beautiful when there done with it. Its great that they are restoring it instead of tearing it down. Too many places have come and gone. Great this isn't one of them.

Searching for older theatres is how I found this site in the first place several years ago. This is the best! I really wish places had saved more of these. This one really is in good shape.
