You can imagine a bride walking down the red carpet centre aisle to meet her groom at the end.

Was the detail painted on the glass? It looks like that.

What a shame. And all the things that have fallen apart on the floor. The church was sold for $7,000 and they had a grant or something to repair it, but money went astray (see information written by Mr. Motts on the title page to this gallery), what a terrible shame.

This is just beautiful, I think it is my favourite shot. The light entering and making the walls gold, and the wonderful stained glass windows accented by the arches. Fabulous. It would be a travesty to have this destroyed.

I agree with Tenbobo, I don`t remember anyone swimming after the pool closed and certainly not on nights. The staffing levels were so poor who would have been on the wards and breaks were taken on the wards.
I don`t remember anyone drowning there either nor any rumours about attempted drowning, supervision was good whilst patients were swimming.

What a shame that the angels painted on the right wall are peeling away. What a loss.

Look again, no wheels and a pull out step to assist the patient to get on.

A fantastic shot, great lighting, perspective, angles, highlighting the lovely stained glass window. Perhaps good wallpaper?

It should be restored. Thank heaven no one has stolen the stained glass windows. Five churches near my town have had all theirs stolen, left just empty window frames.!!
