Autoguy...I see you are still fascinated by those zombies ahahahha. Good to know you are still here!

I can imagine guests going down these stairs to join the family for supper. Cool!

Ew to those tissues....wouldn't blow my nose with them lol.

Those blocks are fascinating. A scene right out of the "olden days" for sure!

What was in all those bottles?

This looks like someone just left to go get something in another room! Amazingly well-preserved!

There is a house right across the street from me right now that no one lives in. It just sits. Empty. I think someone lived there years and years ago (we have lived in our house for 9 years and next door to this house for 4 years before that, and I remember there was a time when we first moved to this neighborhood in 2004 that someone actually lived in that house) but now it just sits there. The family DOES come and take care of the property like trim the bushes and mow the grass, but I noticed that just recently, a paper was put on the door, and I was curious to see what it was. It is a notice from the city to pay back taxes...so I have no idea what is going on with that property now. It still looks like it is in good shape and I think the family had done renovations on the inside a few years ago, so we thought someone was moving in. It is so sad because there is one of those stickers in the upper window to alert firemen that there were children living there.

Also I wonder what is in the bottom cabinets of the desk...what interesting items are hidden away in there?

WOW...it looks like someone was just at that desk a moment ago! It does look like one of those "staged" shots that Mr. Motts mentioned, but that doesn't make it any less fantastic. I would LOVE this desk for my computer room!

Wow I just noticed the moth too! Eewwww. Creepy!

I wonder what those numbers were for...

Ooooh... I can just imagine sitting in a large comfy chair, reading one of these books as a grandfather clock softly ticked the hours away.

Man...this made me feel nostalgic!

Judging from the cobwebs on the door...I would think it would be safe to say that noone has come through that door in a LONG LONG time. :D

Sorry...being a smarty pants. This is awesome and creepy at the same time!

Wanderer--I remember they made fun of that commercial in the movie The Incredible Shrinking Woman (Lily Tomlin) in the 1970s...sheesh. I am old too. :D This was an incredible find!

Did anyone else think of Harry Potter (the little closet-like space under the stairs) or was that just me?

OK...I am officially a nerd. Thank you. Move on. Hahaha.

LOVE this vacuum! My mom used to still have the old Kirby vacuum that she bought in the 1970s until she passed away. I don't have any idea what happened to it after her house was cleaned out to sell though. :(

Whoa....LOVE that fridge and that ghostly image gave me a fright at first.

If only these walls could talk!

Toot--they would be in their late 20s now I think? I wonder if any of them still think about this school and all the good memories they'd had there?

Great gallery Motts! Glad to be back!
