It looks like peeling paint over glass tile that wraps a pocket door/window frame. Glass tile in a jail? Although I did some pretty fancy tile bathrooms in the Monroe Pen here in WA, go figure.

I agree Ferdy! That movie actrually was exactly the one I was thinking about! Not too many "scary" movies actually scare me or creep me out, but I think "The Fly" movies and a couple others DID make me want to hide under the bed...and made me feel all creepy and scared as I watched them. *Shivers*

Oh, I am here...just getting used to the kids being home on Summer Vacation. They got out this past Thursday and it is a little crazy yet.

Back in '72 I was getting a tooth drilled on that chair and I got "agitated" when they did not give me enough novicane, so they injected me with 1000 mg of thorazine. Fun place! NOT!!!

The cancer research was shut down around 2009.

The cancer research center has now been abandoned. The entire place is now abandoned. It is haunted as well and so should be proceeded with caution. It should never be knocked down.
