JenBSweet, the pipes come up from below and enter into the tub from the side below the edge. There's no faucet sticking out because it goes right into the side. They're freestanding, so there's no wall to mount the faucet on.
So obviously it hasnt happened yet or you dont know mate? And yes like every Urban Explorers dream is to be there in person to get there own images of any structure that wont be there for much longer.Hey mate I found this really cool public hospital over here that has been shut for over 30 years. It has really cool iron gates and is on quite a few acres of land over looking the sea.Alot of out buildings eg boiler house, nurses quarters, the main hospital and heaps of others.Went up yesterday to start takeing shots and yip my camera decided to have a mind of its own and misbehave. How annoying is that?Did more research when i got back home and found out that it was built before 1900,so as you can imagine i dont want to let this one be demolished before i have taken a few shots.More than a few would be beta.
The word around town is that it is Haunted.MM seeing is believing, but in saying that why did i have such bad things happen while i was there.
And would i have banged into the security guards at te same time.
Buggered if I know.I am alone in this case as others that say they are keen dont want to get caught at the sametime. There were some people living in the buildings illegally up until recently when they all got kicked out as the buildings were a earthquake risk.
So there are alot of buildings that are going to be no longer due to mother nature.
old friend- saw this a long time ago- it's really nice you can explore the buiding from you computer but nuthin' like BEING there. I heard rumblings from another site that demo was to be Feb13 2013
It does seem like he was touched by "institutionalization" - getting so used to living at a static, unchanging place for such a long time, it's difficult to return to a changing society.
