I was at SBS Goshen from December to graduation in 1957. Fr. J. Herzog
Was Prefect of dicipline and used bamboo canes on us. My classmates were Neptune Bonadventure, from Haite, and VanZante. There was Br. Frank.
You SHO do get it out in the wind man...No way in HELL could I climb that !!! As always, Thanx for the vicarious thrills! Be safe, and keep 'em coming!

These places hold a great deal of intrigue for me. Now in neglect, they were once deemed important, giving shelter or providing services of some kind or other--a stopping point for the lives that passed through there. Now vacant, they seem like colossal monuments to futility.
Absolutely magnificent! Love this! Thanks.
Did they sneak down in the tunnels paint? Clandestine? Secret? What a thought. Like grafitti. And then to paint this clown; the most terrible forbidden thing.
Was there an elevator?
Ahhh hahaha yes Lamps! Fun Every Day! :-)
Is the door ajar???
WHO would make this mess and why????
Someone somewhere is Not doing their job, and taking decisions & responsibility for their area/work, that´s for sure. Well that´s how we people are! Hmmm yes.
:-) Your photos: crystallized , touching , sympathetic and sincere. Thank you so very much! Yer da bestest, Mr. M.
Ah The Lamp! The light in this photo is so strange to me, am not even sure if it is B/W or not! Hues, shade and tints! That open window is good and the tilt of the lampshade, too. Really like this! Best wishes Mr.M.

It almost looks like the place from the movie Grave Encounters
The temperature even in northern italy rarely gets below 30 degrees f. therefore from experience i can tell you to heat this place would not cost as much as we may think, the stone buildings and even modern italian houses take forever to heat but once warm, it holds the heat in very well
