So cold, empty, and lonely... I love that quality/color of light. There's just something about it that touches the soul.

Pat, for the most part, the cops over there aren't that friendly. I knew it was going to happen since all the kids in the small school building started screaming when we walked by haha. This is what the cop said, " I don't give a shi...just stay outside the fence. He was pretty handsome too!

Thank you Flora, We have another interview with an alumni at the end of the month. I promise you that I will finish this.

Honestly did not know about this hospital until a recent show on the History Channel. After that I just felt compelled to learn more. This site, info and photos are amazing. I read that in 2011, the state began demolition of at least part of the hospital, tunnels etc. Curious as to just how much of the property they plan to demo. Read about ideas of planned Entertainment Parks etc... I just have a real problem with that my self... Anyways, great job I realty enjoyed my visit to your site....

When I use to live on the East coast i loved seeing this place. It's so dark and interesting. It has it's own kind of beauty to it too along with a shiver that tingles the spine. The haunted house they hold there is pretty amazing too. A must go to around Halloween ^_^
