Pipes may be bent like that to compensate for heat expansion

Wonder why the pipes are bent like that?

You see the two small twin balconies in the center of the building there? As of July 2013, one of them is completely non-existing. Now there is a gaping hole while the other one is crumbling away.

These are drying racks possibly used for test tubes beakers. Have the newer version in the pharmacy where i work.

Glass IV bottles are still used in some hospitals. I use to compound Insulin IVs in glass bottles up until the hospital I work for decided to change over to more convenient "plastic" bags. Now a days most common IVs such as normal saline, lactated ringers, DW5 etc, are all standard and come pre maded into the pharmacy. Electrolytes such as multi-vits are compounded individually by the pharmacy and are commonly called "banana bags" because the solution becomes yellow once the vitamins are added by the pharmacy tech.

On July of last year a couple of urban explorers went here too and the weeds, vines and shrubs covered everything. Apparently people stopped maintaining them and just let the plants grow wild. At that time, a second floor section in the front of the building had completely collapsed, there was a huge hole there and the third floor, without the support of the second floor, looked to be hanging quite precariously. I wouldn't be surprised if people went there today and found that particular section of the building missing like this balcony.

This photograph proves how even in state of decay and abandonment a house/building can still look beautiful. The architecture of the stone wall with the window's arched wood work and the Sun's light with the branches that seem to be reaching into the room to claim it as their own makes this picture absolutely breathtaking.

Yup I thought it was pretty solid, there didn't seem to be any water damage.

The white brick building was attached to the building I was in, it seemed like it was added on to the original structure. I can't recall what it's purpose was, perhaps a kitchen.

It's a pretty wide angle photo, but the window was also big!

Yeah there's a little shed out there. The graves were painted with a number, but they've all worn away by now.
