Ut-oh! It's a shame this beautiful granite step came apart!

What a lovely photo of contrasts! The rough hewn stonework and the soft bright green vegetation! Not to mention your ''rare'' photo of a staircase outdoors. Truly love it!

The entrance, taken from this perspective, reminds me of the entrance to a church or synagogue. Nice!

I agree with Freespirit76. The mannequin head is trying to escape in this photo.

I'm surprised that grand old fountain is still working, too! Nice new Gallery, Motts! I wouldn't mind paying a fee to visit this place and help support it at the same time. However, I've never been into ghost hunting, although I'll admit I think there's a possibility ghosts could exist. I've just never made the acquaintence of one...yet. : )

If anyone has an Iphone, take screen shots of the dark places, you can see what lies in it...

In the back, the glare, if you zoom in it looks like a human figure... And if anyone has an Iphone take a screen shot while zoomed in... You can see the whole body figure.

Definitely an omen declaring the dangers of confusing soap dispensers and lamps, their properties are quite dangerously different :)

Fascinating...the rest stops are often quite far apart in WV., I wonder if a once upon a time occupant wrote that and I wonder what it meant to them when they did so.

Is there a piece missing on top of that banister? Nice stairway anyway, and the 3-way archways are cool.

Love the windows on both sides of the door. Reminds me of a church. Did they have stained glass. It's a little hard to tell.

And it's another lonely chair shot. What would these galleries be without one?

They just had it backwards. The light was in the soap dispenser and the (out of shot) wall switch dispensed soap from the ceiling. People must have gotten shampooed.

I was thinking coat racks, like a comment above. Maybe there were display cases in them.
