I think the lone chair collapsed from a broken heart because it had about given up on Motts coming to photograph it. Then, to add insult to injury, he puts other things in the photograph along with the chair! It was just more than it could handle! : (

Oh, yuck! The ''Institutional Lime Green'' paint color strikes again! All the paint companies must get rich manufacturing this color...but none will admit it. : )

If this building had children's wards in it the Murphy beds could have been for parents to sleep on, so they could stay with their young children overnight in the hospital. I know that when I went into the hospital when I was 6 years old, my Mom stayed overnight with me by sleeping on a Murphy bed in my hospital room. That was back in 1967. (Now everyone knows what an old person I am.) : D

Mr. Motts, Norway has an Archipelago to the north, Svalbard. There is a lot of abandoned coalmines around Longyearbyen. An an abandoned russian city called "Pyramiden" some hours away with a snowmobile. If you have the opportunity to go there it is a great place to visit. Just watch out for polar bears..

Grew up in a beautiful huge apartment building, constructed 1895 - and we had them everywhere - and each time see them think of my fine childhood there.

Theatre curtains used to be made of asbestos. This was due to the fire danger from the use of open flames for lighting then arc lighting.
