Before the asylums got so terrible over-crowed? Crowded is never good. Big problem. And with no means/funding it is impossible.
Just think; attractive beautiful cozy & comfortable, + all that niceness mentioned, would benefit any-one with any illness, maybe?
Still think it was such a sweet, thought through idea when it started.
They had such great dreams and big-hearted hopes; they were fair & splendid, and they built thereafter. The idea of the vision does shine through.
