I like this.
I like Nature minding its own business growing.
Good.

This looks more like a dock, rather than an amusement park ride.
Even after its death the coaster is giving us the finger
Funny!! Wene I squint my eyes, I can still see it as it was.

wow, i really like this shot,it looks like if you sneeze the whole structure will come crashing down.
my first roller coaster. ---- sigh, Now these lyrics are stuck in my head

A dragon lives forever but not so little boys
Painted wings and giants rings make way for other toys
One gray night it happened, Jackie Paper came no more
And Puff that mighty dragon, he ceased his fearless roar
I went here ween I was small, thank you for the photos and the history of this place

Thanks again all.

fonijoni - unfortunately we had to keep our exploration somewhat restricted to the center of the island. I would've very much liked to check out the Nike missile site, the Ebbets Field bleachers, the SC-B1 grave and other buildings.

Wow I suppose they are shoes - they've been sitting in that window for so long, they look like wooden forms.

BKW - I was wondering the same; I assume the radiators had been scrapped, but there must've originally been a boiler somewhere since there are no fireplaces and the power plant wasn't built until 1912. I'm guessing all the buildings tapped into those dynamo room steam lines after it was constructed.
