Thank YOU, Celeste! Now I get it! The courtyard is the main entrance. Now I can go back and understand Wanderers pictures and the urbex postings on you tube. I also just went through the "Historic Images" section ogain. "Arriving at Halcyon Hall" on the courtyard side makes perfect sense. Celeste your work with "Minecraft" , is beautiful. I appreciate you attention to detail.

I don't know where the science center is lol. The Front is where the courtyard is and the main driveway leads up. This was the primary entrance for the entire building, you'd walk up the porch steps, walk a distance towards the center of the building, and enter the door on the left side of the chimney.

Once inside you'd be in a room with a fireplace, an open office window and I believe this was the checkin area as well. Direct ahead would be the reception room and to your right would be the Grand Living Room.

Rust,yes - what precious old hues, shades and tints - but no stain on floor - dry place, or moved around?

I wear a mask if I'm going to be really getting dirty, like a nasty tunnel crawl, or staying in a mold-saturated atmosphere for a while. Otherwise, I just try not to disturb or eat stuff that could be hazardous. Asbestos is usually the most life-threatening particulate in these kinds of places.

Yes - light! My head was spinning a bit - it occured to me, that maybe the overseer in the other building, actually HAS electricity; a lamp, a radiator and a hotplate, and is always watching over the abandoned building in a most adept clever manner. We do not know, do we? as Mr. Motts never touches a switch for fear of bust. Awesome gallery really, love "Northam Manor."

Do you guys wear masks? I rather imagine that flaking paint is full of lead. Great pictures thank you.

Never seen a typewriter like the one on the right, possibly an Underwood. I wonder if those five keys on the top line are for setting the touch.

Also what is being refered to as the "Front" is actually the back lol.
