Could be a cartoon character or a sports mascot, there were similar stickers on the others too. There could've been a younger person in one of these for a long time.

The machines don't tilt, and the patient must be on their backs at all times for the pressure to push the air in and out of their chests properly.

It could just be me...... but.............
the Sticker - above the hand written Note / Order -- looks like a cartoon Charactor / Animal - A Fox or Raccoon..... with his hand pinching his nose closed... and I just thought it was really ---- im looking for a word (or 2) here.... profoundly strange?

Nope... it has actually been a major point of my friend to find one at some point, a holy grail if you will... it took a few years of searching before seeing these!

There is one more older iron lung in worse shape than these that he is still looking for. I hope to find an authentic electro-shock therapy device in somewhere other than a museum, myself.

What would a person do all day (weeks, months, years) in a machine like that ? Did a patient always have to lay flat on their back? or did the machine tilt to a more upward position?

This is a major find! Great Picture but stirrs up real saddness.... have you ever seen these machines in any other hospitals youve been to motts?

Ive seen shampoo and liquid handsoap that look similar to that also, but........ they werent in a morgue on a slab! lol

I see a number of metal drapery hooks - different shapes and sizes - but there might be other objects there as well.
