The better to torture you with my dear. . .
Pretty powerful stuff Roy, thank you! Really makes you think.
I notice the lack of any lighting fixtures on the ceiling, how did they light this place?
Some are homeless, others went into "residential" homes with other people who can't take care of themselves and the rest I imagine just walk among us. It was a shame that they de-institutionalized these places because yes, they did cause a lot of people to become "displaced". And for what? Just to let the buildings remain empty and rot. Seems to me they could have made better decisions so that so many people weren't effected. As for these cribs, they're pretty neat, I would sleep in one!! (with a fresh mattress of course)
Coming here is like eating potato chips, you can't just have one gallery (or chip) you have to have MORE.
My friends mother had these monsters in her beauty shop, they threw off so much heat that in the winter time she didn't have to turn the room heat on, the beauty shop was heated just by the hair driers alone. HA!!
It's hard to tell what they were, I had to look twice -
And not a soap dispenser in sight!! (sorry - but someone was bound to mention it sooner or later)
Primitive to be sure!
If these poor people didn't have mental issues before this, they sure would have afterwards! At least I know this would have put me over the edge!!
good point! You'd think that mesh would get hot. Reminds me of a giant EZ Bake Oven!!
may or may not have cured VD, but I'm sure you got 3rd degree burns from this contraption!
that left a lump in my throat for sure -
That one almost looks like a bicycle rack- love the transoms!!
