Those are odd shapes over the doors. Were they supposed to be like transoms or just decorative?

I can't imagine keeping patients in this area if that's what it's for. It resembles more of a garage or barn to me.

For some reason this looks like a horse barn to me.

I don't know but I think my claustrophobia would kick in if I had to wait here for more than five minutes!
