...And she's buying a stairway to Heaven! : )
Absolutely stunning, Tom! Nice to see the tabernacle is still intact. Beautiful angels too. : ) Btw, do you have an all-time favorite asylum that you have photographed? My favorite, of course, is Danvers State Hospital because of the beautiful Danvers Red Brick, the Kirkbride castle design, and the peaceful pastoral setting. Just wondering if one special place has truly touched you.
@MamaTo FiveInPA-Sorry to hear about your little boy-hopefully he will be OK. I'll keep him in my prayers-take care.
Where's the soap dispenser when you need it?! ; )
I can just picture myself leaping from spire to spire, flying in the wind, in my pointe shoes and tutu-catch me if you can! ; )
Shooting this photo in black and white was a brillant idea. It truly gives it an ethereal quality...hauntingly beautiful! : )
I love this picture! Yes, I know, I know it looks creepy, but ya gotta love those baby faces!
I love grottos! They are so peaceful. My dad proposed to my mom and gave her an engagement ring in front of a Marian grotto-how romantic! : )
The castle in my dreams...
So sad...I can just picture those poor little children going 'round and 'round.
So mysterious...
I can smell the fresh air by just viewing this beautiful scenery! Great shot, pal. Btw Tom, have you ever photographed Grossinger's Resort? I was absolutely stunned to see it abandoned and in disarray! At least the indoor tennis courts still look good. We had an old family friend who used to go there many years ago and loved it. It's a shame that it's a ghost town now.
I loved JP II! He was a great and holy pope! The best! : )
You look so gallant, like a prince in a castle! : )
Hope everyone survived the hurricane-hope you're doing OK Mr. Motts.
