Look at the cloud in the upper right corner, looks like a picture a child would make of someone crying. Very eary!

names- I would love to list them and ask, people whose lives touched mine, I still think of them and remember conversations.

I worked on D, Daycenter, and Rec. then D again.
I've always wondered about the kids I met, and miss them still. It was a privilege to meet so many wonderful children, adults today but it still feels like it's today. Daycenter was closed and I went to rec. Street hockey, pool upstairs, rollerskating in town, 16mm movies and plants and gro lights downstairs. Tea time on D, schedules and talking, always talking.

They look like chicken cages I've seen on farms. They could be used for other small animals also.

Google leads me to believe: AFD-Armaturen Fertigungs-und Dienstleistungs. They make ind. valves and stuff. Manufacturers usually cast their names, initials, etc. into their products. That set up looks to be for sampling, maybe the top and bottom of the vat.

You must keep in mind that these people had a contagious diseses (TB, smallpox,etc..) Unfortunately for them they were in quarantine and could not leave.

I think the meaning of this painting meant that there is danger but if you can get to a safe place you will be alright...maybe.
