WOW .. those tiles are laid one tile at at time... including the little 1x1 tiles. I can't imagine how long and tedious that work was!

Maybe this inspired Rockwell?? "I always feel, I always feel, I always feel... I always feel like somebody's watching me"

It looks like it just says "Electro Shocx" next to the wires. Very interesting painting non-the-less...

Also, very different tile pattern in this room. I wonder if this was the same building as the previous pictures?

That looks to be a marble shelf as well.

Now that's one seriously cool marble table. I would imagine that could be cleaned right up and could be made use of.

Motts, what type of room was this in? Was this in a patient's room or a more "common" area? Just curious. I like to wonder about who scratched these types of things and what they might have been going through at the time...

Very creepy! Also, it looks like the window that covered that slot in the door had been painted over with the same paint as the door. I guess whoever was in that room wasn't even able to peak out the door slot... so sad.

That is beautiful tile work. I noticed the same sort of pattern on the floor in the room in the "closet" pics a few pages ago. I bet that looked amazing all nice, new and shiny.

Hey Motts... About time!... Just kidding. Welcome back. I'm glad you got some time to get away and accomplish the things we all need to but hate to do. I'm glad to see the site back and active and cannot wait for new content. Opacity has been in my browser's "auto open at start up" setting for several years so I visited every day. I have to admit, I was getting tired of seeing that same old picture everyday.. LOL.. But I never gave up.

Glad to see you back! I hope you had a great holiday season so far, a great Christmas (if you celebrate), and I hope you have an outstanding New Years! .... I can't wait to sit back and eat up the site content.

Thanks again for all your time and effort!

It does look like a buzzer. Motts, you didn't ring it and see who came? It would have been hard for me not to at least push the buzzer and run.. LOL
