During my junior year of high school (1996) I was a member of Key Club (a branch of Kiwanis International). That year, the Key Club Convention was supposed to be held at the Pines, but following a roof collapse, the Convention was relocated. So this part of the site really jumped out at me, that the Pines ended up being abandoned 2 years later.
