This is an amazing shot. It kinda reminds me of a semi-aerial view of the pentagon in a Watergate flick or something.

There is no danger to using chloraseptic and cherry cough drops - the losenges contain the same chemicals that chloroseptic does - Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide.

Motts, have you ever set off an alarm in this place?

Wow, that's some remarkably well-groomed ice. Looks like you could play the most dangerous game of hockey ever up there.

Great shot of the hat and coat. The stalls still have a amazing agelessness to them after 25 years. I did a lot of research on this mine, and found out that it only operated for 15 years, but had the largest number of employees at the time of shutdown; 1500 at least! But even with all the miners working there, even for only 15 years, the mine was abandoned in one day. From the looks of things, it seems that everyone left in a big hurry.....wierd.

Hi, if you wouldn't mind, I'd really like if you could give me some information about the hospital, especially the older buildings and the security situation. I plan to take pictures there and experience the place, but I'm scared to death of being charged with criminal trespassing if I get caught. It sounds like you got out in the nick of time anyway. My email is ryan5red@aol.com. I hope to hear from you.

what's the best way to get in there without getting caught by security? I want to explore it before they demolish the rest of it.

The deal with Utopia fell through, thankfully, but the city is looking for another buyer. I've been in this one a few times. At one point, I had a satellite photo overlaid with a map of the tunnels, but that hard drive has since crashed. Very spooky place.

Sad, But true. I had an Aunt who worked in a Mental Institute
(early 60's) and even with "modern treatment techniques"
it was a heart wrenching experience even at the best of times...
