This fireplace seems almost flush with the wall.

All I know is that if I was kept in a room like this for too long, I KNOW I would go crazy!

When I was a kid, th ereally older homes had ceilings at least 8' high. That's why alot of people started using drop-ceilings.

Seriously, is that why the ceilings were so high? I know really older places had real high ceilings.
