I grew up in the area and used to go a lot around 1995. I never knew the history of until now (thanks to the www!). Everything looked so differnt, I though I was in the wrong place because of the widening of the rodes and the new houses in the area. There is a website that tells what the state is planning on doing with land. A hearing was held in May.

This is grafitti left by a movie company that rented the space after the state closed the facility. It was a small independent film called "Zoo". They were allowed to use the space and left a mess in several locations - this is what ruins it for others.
