okay, I just HAVE to squeeze 2 inside jokes in here, my bad...

Felyne: I don't wana know just how many cats used this place as a litterbox (or monkeys)...

Motts: do you think that thingy up there dispenses pine-scented soap?

XD sorry, sorry. this pic just has too many inside jokes squeezed into its many green, interesting nooks and crannies... ;)

lol I hope that was supposed to be a joke, because it sure was funny! if there were stray monkies in this place for any wild reason whatsoever, Motts certainly wouldn'tve made it out of here, either by their rabid human-eating/camera stealing/scat flinging ways or just their toxic stink! XD haha, I've too vivid of an imagination...

lol don't worry Felyne, I thought the same until just tonight, when I realized the meaning of cat "print". and oi, yes, I can imagine the stink of a cat infestation. I read about those in the paper alot, its really sad. but I can't imagine the smell of so many neglected stray cats, my 3 housecats stink enough!

but that begs the question... this is just a picture, right? did you manage to encounter any live cats? I'm always hearing how famous 137 is for being chock full of stray cats, so you had to have seen a few, no? unless they all fell asleep in file cabinets and.... ><

I did my art composition based on this picture and a few others from the KPCC collection (hey, you said we could Motts, didn't you?) but it was mostly based on this one. needless to say this pic inspired me like no other. wish I could get the drawing on the comp but it doesn't even fit on my scanner.

lucky for me, I found this pic before I found all the inside jokes referring to it.

fyi, this topic STILL cracks me up. who'd think light fixtures and soap dispensers could be so damn funny? this site is just too good!

that's a really good pic.

but may I add... jo and lynne... I think you've just given me one of the greatest laughs I've ever had on this site. thank you for lightening up the mood here! XD

ugh... I'm with everyone, this is just too sad for me to handle...
in fact, I did find an old, tattered, scat-covered puppy once, and I'll be honest, call me crazy but I took him! I scrubbed the hell out of him and stuff and I'm still trying to figure out what I should do with him. I just couldn't leave him there or throw him away. I couldn'tve left this one here either!! it makes me so sad... its like he's layin there, waiting for his "master" to come back, and he's never gonna come back... :'(

you guys never cease to crack me up. XD

of all the sad pictures on this site, this one kills me the most...
it really makes me think... if I were in that circumstance and died and my belongings were in this very heap... I want to cry just thinking about it. all the material posessions that mean something to me or have sentimental value... left to rot. since they couldn't be given to their owner's families or taken with them, I can only pray that this will be their grave and not ransacked by vandals or thieves. I doubt that, though, and sooner or later this place will have to be demolished... it makes me so sad...

EW. this brings back bad memories. see my mom and I were just recently cleaning out an extension to my garage that is just like a little house, we had left it abandoned for a number of years and finally decided to clean it out and use it again, my mom told me to move a shelf for her and I didnt want to because I knew we had rats in there at a time (we live behind a lumber warehouse thing, so we always have damn rats in the yard and garage) I protested but she made me move it and indeed there was a giant mummified dead fucking rat that looked just like this!! only it was definatly a rat and it was SO gross I can never look at my pet rat the same way ever again!!
